In Russia, a decline in sales of winter tires has been noted

According to the data of the "YuKassa" service and the analytical center "Check Index", which cites TASS, in September 2025, sales of winter passenger tires in Russia decreased by 12% compared to the same month in 2024, since "anomalous warm and dry weather in many regions of the country allowed car owners to postpone the change of tires". 

Analysts add that from September 16 to 30, 2025, sales of seasonal tires doubled, however, the average check did not change and amounted to 38,081 rubles. 

According to Nikita Tsoi, Head of Sales at "YuKassa", "the stability of the average check in the tire segment indicates a pragmatic approach: buyers choose proven price categories, not saving on safety, but also not overpaying for premium brands without necessity".
