Sumitomo Rubber Industries to Open Technical Center in New York

Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) announced plans to open a technical center in the western part of New York state to support its design, product testing, and innovation activities in the automotive tire market in North and South America.

The Getzville technical center will employ approximately 40 engineers and technicians within SRIA (SRI America), a subsidiary of SRI. An additional ten employees will be based at SRIA’s testing facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
