Tires will become more expensive

This year, Ukrainian car owners will be forced to pay 10-15% more for summer tires for their vehicles. The reason is the additional markup set by manufacturers and importers.

According to experts from the publication "Delovaya Stolitsa", this is simply a way to recoup losses from drivers. Due to the delayed winter, Ukrainians late switched to winter tires, resulting in only twenty percent of the imported goods being sold. As a result, sellers were even forced to hold a sale of winter tires with a discount of 15-25%.
When snowfall finally arrived in Ukraine, there was not much time left until the end of winter, and many car owners preferred not to spend money on new winter tires, instead buying used ones. As a result, dealers lost a huge amount of profit.

As mentioned above, summer tires will cost 10-15% more. Thus, according to "Delovaya Stolitsa", a set of "more or less decent" R15 tires will cost 2-2.4 thousand hryvnia, and R16-17 - 3.5-4 thousand.
