Accelera expands its off-road tire range

PT. Elangperdana Tyre Industry has expanded its lineup with a new tyre, the Accelera Omikron R/T (Rugged-Terrain), designed to fill the gap between A/T and M/T tyre classes. It combines a high level of comfort for everyday driving with serious off-road capabilities.

The new model features an aggressive tread pattern engineered to deliver reliable grip on various surfaces such as soil, gravel, sand, and rocks. It includes wide and deep grooves that effectively evacuate water, mud, and small stones, helping maintain stable traction in challenging conditions. To enhance on-road performance, the tread design incorporates central blocks with polygonal edges, which the manufacturer claims improve braking efficiency and steering response. Meanwhile, shoulder blocks with stepped sidewalls increase off-road grip, including on steep inclines.

The Omikron R/T is available in sizes with rim diameters ranging from 16 to 24 inches and is suitable for vehicles such as the Toyota Fortuner and Hilux, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Triton, Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover Defender, Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and others.
