General off-road tires are presented for police
In the US, there is a separate segment of tires that are often referred to as Pursuit Tires (literally "pursuit tires") and are specifically designed for police vehicles and other similar government services. One of the participants in this market is the company Continental, which announced that it is releasing new "police" tires General Grabber Justice A/T for SUVs and pickups, which in the brand's lineup join the passenger G-Max Justice and G-Max Justice AW (the latter model is adapted to the harsh conditions of the winter period), also designed to withstand increased loads when chasing offenders at high speeds.
The Grabber Justice A/T has been included in the official list of tires approved for use by police, ambulance, and other services, and is made using Duragen Technology, i.e., the composition of the rubber mixture, the tread pattern, and the reinforced design have been optimized to increase reliability in harsh conditions.

Continental conducted internal tests, comparing the Grabber Justice A/T with a similar model from a competing brand, and, according to the test results, the braking efficiency of the General on a wet road was 20% better, the resistance to aquaplaning and handling in rainy conditions was 10% better, and the fuel efficiency was 15% better.
"The Grabber Justice A/T is a revolutionary solution for services that require tires that confidently behave on asphalt and at the same time provide high cross-country ability," noted Dan Gould, Senior Sales Manager of General Tire. "We have developed new tires to meet the changing requirements of law enforcement agencies and government fleets, and we are proud to have created a product that has exceptional characteristics and reliability, as well as being offered at a favorable price."
The tires have entered the market in the size LT265/70R18, designed for the Ford F-150 Police Responder pickup.
