New Accelera All-Terrain class tires are presented

Indonesian company PT. Elangperdana Tyre Industry has introduced new Accelera Omikron A/T 2 tires, created based on the previous generation model — Omikron A/T — and designed to meet the growing demand from crossover owners who need tires with improved balance between comfort during everyday use and off-road capabilities.

Compared to its predecessor, the new tire features a more aggressive tread pattern, which increases traction on various types of unpaved surfaces, while channels with increased depth accelerate the removal of water, mud, and small soil fractions to the sides, and reinforced shoulder blocks improve stability, including when driving on rough terrain.

According to the company, thanks to the improved design, the tire works stably both on city streets and on moderate off-road, and also provides confident grip when frequently transitioning from paved to unpaved surfaces.

New Accelera tires have entered the market in the size 235/60 R18 for vehicles such as Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Nissan X-Trail, and Wuling Almaz, and in the near future, additional sizes with diameters from 17 to 20 inches will be released.

In EP Tyres, they add that the new tire "combines functionality, durability, and modern design" and "will allow the company to continue strengthening its position in the All-Terrain segment".
