Pirelli supported the Rox Motor off-road trip

On July 21, in Urumqi (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China), a rally was launched by Rox Motor in conjunction with Pirelli to demonstrate the off-road capabilities of their Rox 01 SUV.

Over 90 days, participants will travel through 17 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe, and the vehicles will have to prove their reliability in various extreme conditions, including steep slopes of the Pamir Plateau in Central Asia, the Nile River basin, the Serengeti grasslands in East Africa, and scorching dunes on the Arabian Peninsula, while Pirelli provided its Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires, designed for use both off-road and on asphalt (ratio: 40%/60%).

Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires feature a design with densely packed lugs that enhance traction on slippery surfaces, and the snowflake marking confirms that the tires work effectively on snow. Additionally, the tread pattern has been modified for quick self-cleaning from gravel, reducing the risk of punctures and carcass damage, while deep grooves and independent blocks increase traction on dirt and loose surfaces.
