About the plans of Jiangsu General

Jiangsu General has abandoned plans to build a tire plant in Baotou, China, citing that "China's all-steel tire domestic market is still in a stage of weak recovery and cannot meet the expected development". 

Meanwhile, the tire manufacturer is preparing to invest 191 million euros in the expansion of its Cambodian plant. The project expansion period will be 18 months. After its completion, the annual production capacity of the Cambodian plant may increase to 3.5 million semi-steel radial tires and 750,000 all-steel radial tires.
