Toyo has introduced its new all-season tire, the Proxes 4 Plus, in the United States. The company claims that this model combines excellent performance with all-season versatility. According to Toyo engineers, the new tire's strong points are its snow braking and increased durability.

The company's press release regarding the new tire states: "Independent testing using a 2010 BMW 328i showed that the Toyo Proxes 4 Plus increases safety on snow, as it is able to reduce the braking distance by a length equivalent to six cars (compared to the leading competitor's tire) when new, and the difference will be even more noticeable when worn."

Fardad Niknam, Senior Director of Product Planning, stated that the Toyo Proxes 4 Plus is a combination of advanced technology and innovative materials that provide better driving properties. He also claims that the new tire has an increased mileage: compared to a competing tire (which was not named), the new Toyo tire has a 47% longer lifespan, or 22,000 kilometers.

In addition, the tire's main positive features include a unique rubber compound containing silica, which affects traction on wet surfaces and also provides durability.

The tread pattern design has a non-directional asymmetric character, consisting of curved lugs that enhance traction and minimize uneven wear. The wide ribs and closed shoulders contribute to improved steering response and provide stability when cornering. The inner section with wide grooves efficiently and quickly drains water from the contact patch with the road surface.

The Toyo Proxes 4 Plus has a warranty mileage of 80,000 kilometers. The tires are available in 58 sizes and are intended for both original equipment and the secondary market.
