The Michelin company has introduced new tires for construction equipment to the Russian consumer. This took place at the thirteenth specialized exhibition "Construction Equipment and Technologies 2012" (STT-2012), which was held in Moscow.

The first novelty was the radial tire Michelin X-Crane+, designed for mobile cranes. It has a speed index of F, meaning it can reach speeds of 80 km/h with a load of 6,700 kilograms. It can be used for both highway driving and directly on construction sites. Its main positive features are, first and foremost, high wear resistance: compared to the previous Michelin X-Crane+ model, it will last 15% longer thanks to a unique rubber compound in the tread. Secondly, this tire was designed to provide even wear throughout its entire service life, ensuring safety and a high level of comfort. And thirdly, the engineers of the French company simplified the tire mounting process, which reduces the downtime of the equipment.
This tire in the 445/95R25 segment has already appeared on the market.

The second novelty from Michelin was the Michelin XADN+, a tire for articulated dump trucks. It is used in the construction of infrastructure facilities, such as roads, tunnels, and more. This is a functional and adaptable tire for complex conditions. This model is intended to replace the previously released Michelin XADN.

The features of this novelty include reinforced sidewalls, rigid breakers, and a frame, which provide an extended service life. The service life has increased by 8-15%.

In addition, this tire was developed using a unique technology that preserves the need for the raw materials used.

The Michelin XADN+ also went on sale this summer in the 29.5 R25 size.
