New tire from Kumho: Kumho KL33

The Korean company Kumho has introduced a new tire for SUVs, the Kumho City Venture Comfort KL33, in Beijing. As the name suggests, this model is designed for comfortable driving in urban conditions. According to the manufacturer, this tire has improved operating characteristics and comfort level compared to its predecessors. The latter is achieved due to the optimized arrangement of tread blocks, which allows absorbing shocks when moving on uneven surfaces. Low noise level is also a positive feature of this model.
The original composition of the rubber mixture in the tread includes silica, which improves braking performance and tire wear resistance. Another feature of the Kumho KL33 City Venture Comfort is the improved carcass structure with reinforced breakers and a two-layer breaker belt. All this, in combination, further extends the tire's service life.
Finally, the unique design with three-directional grooves and a system of four water-dispelling channels, which prevents aquaplaning, ensures high-quality traction and handling on wet roads.
This tire is available in six sizes from 16 to 18 inches and is perfectly suitable for crossovers such as Kia Sportage, Sorento, and Mojave, Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe, Ssangyong Rexton, Actyon, and Kyron, Mercedes GLK, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Lincoln MKX, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Land Rover Discovery.
