Nissan Armada "shod" in Yokohama tires

Yokohama Rubber acts as a supplier of tires for the original equipment of the large SUV Nissan Armada, which entered the North American market in 2024. 

For the Armada SL and Platinum versions, the Yokohama Geolandar X-CV tires were homologated, which are designed primarily for use on asphalt and provide optimal stability and maneuverability at high speeds. In addition, the internal structure and tread pattern have been modified to reduce weight, increase traction on snow, and improve acoustic comfort. Also, the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 all-terrain tires were included in the equipment of the Pro-4X model, which are suitable for off-road use, but at the same time, according to the manufacturer, guarantee a comfortable ride and low noise on city streets. Both tires are supplied in the size of 275/60 R20.

As part of its development plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), the Japanese company is currently striving to increase sales of high-margin products, including through the promotion of the Geolandar off-road line in the primary equipment sector of the global market.
