For Trelleborg agricultural tires, a 5,000-hour warranty is introduced
Trelleborg Tires (part of the Yokohama group) is launching a 5,000-hour warranty on its TM1060, TM1000, TM900, and TM800 Progressive Traction agricultural tires, which, according to the company, allows farmers to be confident that the tires will not need to be replaced too frequently and reduces downtime, including when operating in challenging field conditions.
"We know that tire replacement is associated with significant costs for agricultural participants," noted Tom Rogers, Commercial Director of Trelleborg, adding that "by launching a 5,000-hour warranty, we demonstrate our confidence in Progressive Traction technology and our commitment to creating tires that work effectively over a long period of time".
Tires manufactured using Progressive Traction technology are distinguished by a patented stepped tread pattern designed to increase traction and stability, as well as improve the tread's self-cleaning ability. According to the manufacturer, this technical solution reduces the likelihood of slippage, decreases vibration, improves fuel efficiency, and extends the life of the tread, all of which, according to Trelleborg, are crucial in modern agriculture.
"When developing each innovative tire model, we take into account the characteristics of the soil to ensure maximum efficiency where it matters most, namely in our customers' fields," said Andrea Mazella, Marketing Director of Trelleborg's agricultural tire division in North America. "By combining advanced technological solutions with a 5,000-hour warranty, we offer farmers solutions that maximize the efficiency of their work and investments, as well as contribute to their long-term success".
