The cost of the Michelin project in China has increased by almost 50%.
Initially, it was planned to invest $989 million in the construction of a plant in Shenyang, but now Michelin plans to increase the investment to $1.5 billion.
There are assumptions that Michelin may also relocate its old plant to the new zone. The discussion of this idea has not led to anything yet.
