Kenda releases new all-season tires

Taiwanese Kenda Rubber has presented two new all-season tires for the North American market at the SEMA show, including the Kenda Vezda UHP A/S-2 in the Ultra-High Performance category, which "perfectly balances efficiency and comfort and provides excellent handling in any weather".

The novelty has a tread pattern with numerous lamellas designed to enhance snow traction, while the four main longitudinal grooves remove water from the contact patch and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

The manufacturer notes that the tread pattern step and the contact area shape with the road were optimized using simulation technologies, and the special rubber compound improved handling characteristics and reduced braking distances in various weather conditions. The tire will be available in almost 40 sizes with a rim diameter from 17 to 21 inches, and the warranty mileage is 80,000 km.

The second novelty is the Kenda Vezda UHP A/S2-EV, which "has all the advantages of the Vezda UHP A/S2, but has been refined for use on the most popular modern electric cars". It is also noted that the high level of traction on wet and dry asphalt, as well as on light snow, combines with dynamic handling and a quiet and comfortable ride. Six sizes with diameters from 18 to 20 inches will be available, and the warranty mileage is 48,000 km.

Both novelties will go on sale in the US market in early summer 2025.
