Ikon Tyres were visited by foreign diplomats

The Ikon Tyres plant in Vsevolozhsk, the largest tire enterprise in the country, was visited by the heads of diplomatic missions from Vietnam, China, Cuba, Laos, Rwanda, and Thailand, whose visit was organized by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko as part of the work to develop cooperation with foreign states.

The delegation was introduced to the full cycle of tire production, and Ikon representatives also spoke about the company's range, focusing on export opportunities. Currently, the plant produces premium and mid-range segment tires, and soon a new budget brand, Credo, will be launched, which, according to the company, "will also meet the current demands of the domestic and export markets".

"Over the past three days, we have learned a lot of new and interesting things. As for the Ikon Tyres plant, this is a large-scale modern production with a huge amount of work done and a very high degree of automation. All this made a big impression on me," said Narat Vidyanan, the chargé d'affaires of the Kingdom of Thailand in Russia, whose words are quoted by the regional administration.

Ikon says that one of the key drivers of the company's development is its own research center, where several dozen experts with many years of experience in Russian and international companies are working on tire development. "It is precisely thanks to this that the company continuously expands its portfolio, strengthening its positions in the domestic and foreign markets," the tire manufacturer notes.
