GRI has appointed former Conti executive Barry Gifford as its global commercial director

Specialty and agricultural tire manufacturer GRI has appointed Barry Gildford as its new global commercial director. The appointment strengthens the company's international leadership team as the Sri Lanka-based company continues to implement its global growth strategy.

Gildford brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in strategic leadership and sales management roles within the tire industry over the past 23 years. He has held various leadership positions at Continental, most recently heading up the Northeast Europe region and the ContiTrade sales division. He officially joined GRI on March 1.
