Gislaved extends partnership with KHL
Tire brand Gislaved and the Continental Hockey League (KHL) have signed a partnership agreement for the 2024/2025 season. Previously, Gislaved was a licensed partner of the KHL and a partner of the Junior Hockey League (MHL), and now the parties have agreed to continue their cooperation.
"The Gislaved tire brand has vast experience in the market and is rightly popular with customers," said Sergey Dobrokhvalov, KHL Vice President. "KHL and Gislaved are united by the desire to grow and develop every day, to become better and be the first in their field. I am confident that joint projects in the 2024/2025 season will be successful and will cause great interest among hockey fans across the country. Interaction with Gislaved in the 2023/2024 season was productive, and we are glad that the cooperation will continue."
In Russia, the rights to the Gislaved brand, originally created in Sweden, after the departure of Continental, belong to the tire cluster "Cordiant", which is part of the multi-profile holding S8 Capital.
"In hockey, such qualities as the will to win, reliability, confidence, and control are important, and in this, we see a similarity with premium Gislaved tires, designed for complex driving conditions. Being involved in the victories of our athletes is an honor for the Cordiant tire cluster," said Valeria Borodina, Gislaved brand manager.
