For the Nissan NX8 crossover, Linglong tires have been approved

Linglong Tire announced that it has become the exclusive supplier of 19-inch tires for the Nissan NX8 crossover, recently introduced to the Chinese market. The company has long been a strategic partner of the Dongfeng Nissan joint venture, and in the case of the new crossover, it will cover 90% of all tire supplies, according to the tire manufacturer's press service. 

Nissan NX8 will be equipped with Linglong Sport Master tires, featuring an asymmetric tread pattern with a developed water drainage system, designed to provide effective braking in any weather conditions, optimal handling at high speeds, and low noise levels, while the special rubber compound recipe, according to Linglong, features an improved balance between high durability and low rolling resistance. 

In recent years, Linglong has been actively expanding its presence in the original equipment segment, aiming to equip more premium-class vehicles with its tires. Linglong notes that in 2025, the share of tires with a diameter of 18 inches or more in supplies for Chinese-made passenger cars increased significantly, and this indicator is also growing in sales of tires for vehicles from foreign brands. In addition, the supply of high-margin tires for truck and special equipment is growing. 

Currently, Linglong supplies tires to leading Chinese automakers, including Hongqi, Geely, and BYD, as well as collaborates with local joint ventures of many foreign automotive brands, such as Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, GM, and Ford. Linglong claims that as part of its work in the OE sector, it aims to "transition from quantity to quality", and its list of partners currently includes eight of the world's top ten automakers.
