Daimler Supplier Awards goes to Bridgestone

Recently, an award ceremony was held by the German automotive concern Daimler. The ceremony was called Daimler Supplier Awards. At the ceremony, the Japanese company Bridgestone received a special award as the best supplier (Special Awards Partnership).
As Edwin van der Sity, Director of OEM Sector in the European branch of the company, said, this award was extremely valuable for Bridgestone, especially considering the difficult situation that arose after the earthquake. Edwin van der Sity also stated that the company will continue to cooperate with the German concern, which produces passenger and commercial vehicles.
Bridgestone supplies tires that Daimler uses for the factory equipment of new cars. In particular, it was recently announced that Bridgestone Turanza T001 tires will be used for the initial equipment of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class.
