Continental adapts tires to autonomous technologies

Continental is taking center stage in the development of tire solutions for future autonomous vehicles, which will be highlighted by the opening of the Tire Technology Expo technical conference in Hanover on March 4, 2026. Dr. Andreas Topp will demonstrate how tire technologies are integrated with intelligent control systems.

In addition to the key theme of autonomy, Continental will also present important papers on sustainability, including the use of technical carbon extracted from old tires as a filler, as well as a discussion of the complexities associated with Euro 7 regulation regarding tire wear particles.
