Recently, Forbes magazine compiled its traditional list of the best companies in Asia, the 2012 Asia's Fab 50. ChengShinRubber was included in this list, and it is worth noting that it became the only tire manufacturer to be honored with a place in this prestigious "top". This is especially significant considering that the list included 1,295 companies with annual revenues of over $3 billion. ChengShin/Maxxis International's revenue for the previous year was $4.2 billion.
When compiling the rating, factors such as income, return on capital, analyst forecasts, and others were taken into account. Companies with a large proportion of state-owned shares were also excluded from the list.
