The Japanese company Bridgestone presented its latest innovation at the recent conference in Colorado. Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 are designed to replace previous models from Bridgestone.

The winter novelty from Bridgestone is a winter non-studded tire, designed for a wide range of vehicles of all classes. The Blizzak WS-70 tires will be available in thirty sizes with a radius of 15 to 18 and an average speed index of T. The main difference between the new tires and the Blizzak WS60 and Blizzak WS50 models is a significant increase in wear resistance.

The Bridgestone Blizzak WS-70 tires show ideal performance on any winter surface.

The latest developments by Japanese scientists have made it possible to improve traction on ice. The latest rubber compound, called NanoPro-Tech, was created to improve vehicle handling on any surface.

Also, in the WS70 model, unlike other models in the Blizzak series, the tread pattern depth has been increased by 1/64 of an inch.

During the development of the tires, Bridgestone compared its novelty with the direct competitor from Michelin - the Michelin X-Ice Xi2. The tires underwent testing on special tire testing grounds and on regular roads. The result of the tests was the similarity of the two models.

Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 is expected to replace previous models and become one of the best-selling winter tires on the market in 2010.
