BFGoodrich will supply tires for the Super GP Americas championship

The organizers of the American racing series Super GP Americas have announced that BFGoodrich Tires has agreed to become the official sponsor and tire supplier for the championship in 2025.

Super GP Americas is a championship sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC) and designed to allow drivers and teams with varying budgets to compete on an equal footing. BFGoodrich will supply the BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S tires for the races, which are made from a special compound that accelerates heating and are designed to improve lap times on the racetrack, but are also legal for public roads.

"We are very proud that BFGoodrich Tires has decided to partner with our championship," said Jonathan Lewis, the series manager. "I have had a good relationship with BFGoodrich when my team and I participated in the Trans-Am races from 1992 to 2002. They have always been leaders in the tire industry, and now they will become the exclusive tire supplier for Super GP Americas."

The championship includes two classes: SGP1 and SGP2, in which participants drive respectively Sebeco NP01 prototypes and Copa 1.8 bodywork cars, the latter costing only $29,500. The season will consist of 10 races, which will be held on five tracks. At the same time, races of other series and classes will also be held.

"We have no doubt that the drivers will be satisfied with the characteristics of our tires, which allow you to feel confident on the track and fully control the car during the fight for victory," said Raymond Cotton, BFGoodrich's manager responsible for the company's participation in motorsports in North America.
