Yokohama ES501

The all-season Yokohama ES501 tire was developed for owners of passenger cars who value a balance between comfort, handling, and durability. Positioned as a "premium" class model, it differs in the use of technologies from the Japanese brand's sports tires, which provided it with high accuracy of response to steering and stable traction in any weather conditions.

One of such solutions was the Micro Flexible compound, created on the basis of microsilica and special elastomeric polymers. This mixture provides the tire with exceptional traction and resistance to temperature fluctuations. Even with strong heating in hot weather, the tread retains its optimal stiffness, preventing excessive wear.

The tread pattern is executed in a symmetrical design, being divided in the middle into two parts by a wide solid rib, which increases the stability of traction at high speeds. The shoulder areas contain a large number of inclined grooves and lamellas, which provide intense acceleration and braking on wet pavement. It is worth noting the use of the Silent Shoulder technology, which reduces the level of road noise. Due to the optimized shape of the shoulder blocks and the uneven pitch of the elements, sound waves are dissipated, creating a feeling of smooth and quiet movement, which is especially appreciated when driving on the highway.

A notable feature is the use of the Advanced Carbon Blend technology - a modified form of carbon black, which provides increased resistance to abrasive wear. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates stable characteristics even after a significant mileage and retains an even tread wear.
