Description Yokohama E75fz Decibel
The Yokohama E75fz Decibel summer tire is included in the factory equipment of Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ cars. The model is characterized by improved traction properties and handling at high speeds and an excellent level of acoustic comfort for its class.
Symmetric Tread
The tire belongs to the UHP category, but it is equipped with a tread having a classic symmetric non-directional design. This is largely due to the desire of Japanese tire makers to provide a high level of acoustic comfort. A tread of this type is better suited for such purposes, as it allows blocks and other elements to be arranged with significant offset from each other. This noticeably reduces low-frequency noise and vibrations that easily penetrate the cabin through metal suspension parts and body panels.
Stability at Any Speed
A distinctive feature of the tread pattern is the massive size of the central longitudinal rib and shoulder blocks. These elements improve several operational properties at once. The most obvious of them is traction, which becomes more reliable due to the increased contact patch. Additionally, the stiffness of the rib and blocks provides fast and accurate transmission of the forces of acceleration acting on the tire in different directions. This simplifies and facilitates the process of driving a car.
Key Features of the Yokohama E75fz Decibel Model
- a symmetric directional tread with a multi-step arrangement of elements reduces low-frequency noise and vibrations;
- wide shoulder blocks and a central rib improve traction and handling at high speeds;
- reliable behavior on wet pavement, thanks to wide and deep drainage grooves in the center of the tread.
