Description Yokohama decibel E70N
The summer tire Yokohama decibel E70N is designed for the most powerful versions of passenger cars. Its design uses technologies and materials previously used in racing tires.
Carcass
One of the features of the tire is the use of a so-called "hybrid" carcass. It is made from a variety of materials, most of which are obtained artificially. The basis of the design is a cord made from viscose thread. The winding technology used provides high density of their arrangement, which gives the carcass stiffness and strength. These properties are further enhanced by a two-layer steel breaker. It is covered with a three-component synthetic jacket on top, with fibers arranged longitudinally. The ultimate result of the application of this comprehensive solution is exceptional directional stability at any speed, quickness and accuracy of transmission of multidirectional acceleration forces to the steering wheel, which simplifies the process of managing the vehicle.
Nanotechnological rubber compound
The tire's tread is made from a rubber compound obtained using nanotechnology. This has allowed for a significant increase in elasticity without compromising wear resistance and strength, as well as accelerating the warming up of the tire to working temperatures.
Key features of Yokohama decibel E70N
- "hybrid" carcass provides exceptional stability and handling at high speed, simplifies the management process;
- nanotechnological rubber compound increases the speed of warming up the tread to working temperature, reduces the braking distance on wet pavement;
- minimal risk of aquaplaning at any speed due to the productive drainage system of the tread with semicircular grooves.
