The Yokohama AE61E summer tire is designed for intensive use on both city roads and high-speed highways. It features improved traction on wet surfaces, reliable handling, excellent acoustic comfort, and resistance to uneven wear, even considering the high center of gravity of SUVs and crossovers.
The A.R.T. mixing technology is used in the production of the tire's rubber compound. The result is a high uniformity of the compound, which has made it possible to significantly increase the content of "silica", thereby improving traction on wet surfaces and the wear resistance of the tread. The asymmetric tread pattern contains predominantly massive, deformation-resistant elements. In combination with the optimization of the tire's tread profile, this provides stable traction, especially when changing direction, allowing the driver to easily correct it as needed.
