Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 – a sports tire that boasts high performance. The model improves vehicle handling on any urban roads, providing a high level of grip even on wet asphalt.
We recall that the series of the Japanese tire giant ADVAN is represented by models used for servicing various sports events, including those of an international level. In this regard, the company hopes that the novelty, presented in 2016 in Geneva, will be able to take its rightful place among its older counterparts. And there are all the prerequisites for this.
NanoBlend Compound
That's what the new compound was called, the composition of which includes silica, orange oil, as well as a package of special polymers. Such a composition has had a positive impact on the balance of handling and grip characteristics, supplementing the tire's properties with fuel efficiency.
Tread pattern
The tread features a large number of biting edges, which provide better handling, especially at high speeds. And to increase the grip properties and traction force, the developers used grooves of various shapes. So, the circumferential variety of lightning-shaped ones provides for the prompt removal of moisture from the contact area, maintaining grip with the road surface. Claw-like grooves are designed to protect against moisture effects during maneuvers.
The shoulder area was not overlooked either, where elongated grooves are located, completely isolated from the general water drainage system. This technical solution made it possible to ensure the efficiency of water mass removal, as well as maintain high accuracy of effort transmission from the steering wheel.
Noise reduction
The tread pattern is designed so that all its elements work as a single whole. This factor can be felt in noise reduction as well. The model is distinguished by its comfort, including when driving at high speeds. Therefore, it is suitable for a wide range of drivers: both for those who love extreme driving on sports cars, and for those who prefer to relax in a limousine or business class.
