The Toyota GR Yaris is equipped with Yokohama tires
Yokohama has become the supplier of tires for the updated "hot" hatchback Toyota GR Yaris, which was introduced to the Middle East market in December last year, the tire manufacturer's press service reported.
GR Yaris is equipped with Yokohama ADVAN Sport ZPS (Zero Pressure System) tires with a Run-Flat design, allowing for continued driving in the event of a puncture, while the tread pattern is the same as that of the standard ADVAN Sport V103 — developed, among other things, to improve performance on wet roads, and the manufacturer emphasizes that the tires are distinguished by an improved balance between optimal maneuverability at high speeds and comfort, including acoustic comfort. The tires are supplied in the size 225/40RF18.

Previously, Yokohama products have been homologated for Toyota GR models on multiple occasions, and, for example, the ADVAN Apex V601 tires were approved for the GR Corolla, and the ADVAN Fleva V701 tires were approved for the Corolla Cross GR Sport.
