Tyres Wosen
- Origins: Китай
The Chinese company Shandong Wosen Rubber Co. was founded in 2003. It specializes in the development and production of automotive tires of various purposes. It is one of the largest enterprises in the industry in China. The total area of the three production sites at the company's disposal is more than 1.2 million square meters. During the year, they produce about 3.5 million radial tires, 1 million forklift tires. In addition, the company's range includes solid and industrial tires.
This brand is used to promote commercial tires of various purposes. More than thirty models represent the brand in the following categories:
- long-haul and regional transportation;
- mixed operating conditions;
- off-road.
The most numerous is the range of tires for long-haul and regional transportation. These are mainly universal "all-position" tires that are recommended for use on any axle on paved roads with any road surface quality. All tires are distinguished by the use of all-steel carcasses. The multilayer cord is made of steel wires with increased strength and resistance to breakage and stretching. This made it possible to reduce the number of cord layers while maintaining high carrying capacity, reducing the weight of the tire, which had a positive effect on fuel efficiency.
The line of tires for mixed operating conditions consists of universal tires. They can be used on any axle in various road conditions. Some models retain their effectiveness on snowy and most dirt roads. To do this, they are equipped with the corresponding tread patterns with a large number of edges. In addition, all tires use an all-steel carcass with an increased number of layers in the cord, and the rubber compound has increased resistance to wear, punctures, and cuts.
For off-road use, the manufacturer offers the smallest range. With rare exceptions, the tires that make up this range are designed for special equipment. First of all, these are dump trucks, concrete mixers, and other vehicles used in construction and municipal services. The tires are distinguished by the use of reinforced carcasses and sidewalls of increased thickness. The tread patterns have an open design of blocks with long edges, which provide stability and good traction on dirt roads, reliable grip, and reduced rolling resistance on paved roads.
