Absence of aquaplaning effect at high speed

The tread pattern of the tire is distinguished by the presence of a productive drainage system. Its effectiveness is ensured by the large number of elements and the variety of functions they perform. The four longitudinal grooves have a large volume, allowing them to simultaneously divert almost any amount of water. Their work is effectively complemented by the curved channels in the central part of the tread. These elements are located at an angle and against the direction of movement, and their curved shape accelerates the circulation of water along them, which further improves resistance to aquaplaning.

Rigid shoulder areas

The shoulder areas are characterized by massive dimensions. They significantly exceed the width of the tread ribs in the central part. This design improves several operational properties at once. One of them is the coupling properties during maneuvering. In addition, the wide shoulder areas provide an even distribution of the load from the weight of the car under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. On the one hand, this gives stability to the coupling properties, and on the other hand, it minimizes the risk of uneven wear.

Optimized rubber compound composition

The tire tread is made of a rubber compound, the composition of which is more than half composed of silicon-containing components. This significantly increases elasticity, thanks to which the tire grips the cooled road surface much better. As a result, excellent traction with it is ensured. Another important addition to the rubber compound is polymers. They strengthen the intermolecular bonds between all components, providing the compound with strength during mechanical stress. This increases the service life of the tread even on very poor asphalt roads.
