The all-season WestLake RP18 tire is designed for compact passenger cars. The size range includes options for 13 and 14 inch wheels with a profile of 65, 70 and 80%. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, resistance to aquaplaning and a long service life.
The tread pattern is designed in a symmetric non-directional design. Its key feature is the presence of several thousand narrow slits. These miniature elements form numerous edges, with which the tire literally bites into the slippery surface of the road, be it snowy or wet. At the same time, directional stability and stable coupling properties are ensured by the solid structure of the three longitudinal ribs in the central part. The blocks located in the shoulder zones are directed transversely and, due to their massive size, possess excellent deformation resistance. This significantly improves maneuverability, giving the steering process transparent feedback.
Key Features of WestLake RP18
- several thousand lamellas enhance traction on slippery snowy and wet roads;
- wide shoulder blocks prevent skidding in turns, reduce braking distance;
- three solid longitudinal ribs in the center improve directional stability, simplify the car handling process.
