The WestLake CM986 commercial tire is installed on the drive axle. It is designed for medium-sized trucks and buses. It is adapted for operation in urban and regional transportation. The tread pattern is made in a sufficiently open design with separate elements. Thanks to their placement in a checkerboard pattern, their number and, along with it, the size of the contact patch were significantly increased. At the same time, the load is distributed evenly over it, which reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread. In addition, the blocks have a rhombus shape and are equipped with lamellas. This improves traction and stability on wet surfaces.
