The Wanli Winter Challenger winter tire is designed for operation in regions with very cold climates. It is characterized by increased traction and adhesion on snow and ice, comfort handling and braking efficiency, quiet and smooth ride, and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern is made in a "Scandinavian" design with a distinctive arrow-shaped rib running exactly down its middle. This element provides stability of traction properties when driving at high speeds, reducing fuel consumption and wear. Next to it are composite P-shaped blocks that form elongated transverse edges, increasing traction and braking properties, primarily on snowy surfaces. They also contain "three-dimensional" lamellas with wavy edges, which further enhance their performance on icy surfaces. The central longitudinal rib has straight cuts that reduce the risk of aquaplaning on wet surfaces and also contribute to a more even distribution of pressure on the road surface, providing comfort in handling and giving the tire an additional smoothness.
Key features of the Wanli Winter Challenger:
- a trapezoidal profile of the shoulder areas and an almost flat central part improves traction and handling on dry surfaces;
- straight and 3D lamellas improve traction properties on slippery surfaces;
- P-shaped composite blocks on the edges of the tread increase stability during maneuvering, provide more traction on snowy surfaces, and prevent rapid wear of the tire's tread;
- a special rubber compound that remains elastic at extremely low temperatures, resistant to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears
