The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R summer tire is another practical result of the close cooperation between the Dutch tire manufacturer and the Italian design bureau Giugaro. This gives domestic owners of powerful high-speed cars the opportunity to purchase incredibly stylish-looking tires, the external appearance of which did not require sacrificing operational characteristics. Most of them are at a very high level even compared to similar models from leading tire giants, which is a very successful result for a small Dutch company.
Optimized for high-speed driving rubber compound
Initially, the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R model was designed not just for powerful high-speed passenger cars, but for the heaviest representatives of this class of vehicles - crossovers and SUVs. Since most such cars weigh quite a lot, the Dutch tire manufacturers have taken a number of measures to neutralize the destructive effect of the large mass on the tire. One of these solutions was a rubber compound with special components. With their help, it was possible not only to increase the strength of the tread, but also its resistance to the destructive effect of high temperatures.
Wide tread with a flat profile
Another distinctive feature of this tire is the large contact patch size, which is provided by several factors at once. First of all, these are the massive dimensions of all the main tread elements, as well as a flat profile that allows you to maximize the contact patch area, thereby providing excellent traction on dry roads.
Main features of the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R tire
- an asymmetric directional tread pattern, created with the participation of designers from the Italian atelier Giugaro, optimized for use on powerful crossovers and SUVs;
- excellent traction properties at any speed, thanks to the large contact patch area and its almost rectangular shape, which remains constant regardless of the driving mode;
- special components in the rubber compound allow it to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of environmental conditions.
