They took as a basis the model for passenger cars, adapting its design for operation on more heavy-duty SUVs and crossovers. To be fair, it's worth noting that this entailed significant changes in the design of a number of tire elements.

If the profile of the central part of the tread has a practically "zero" radius, then its shoulder zones can boast a profile with a variable curvature. Its parameters were calculated using computer modeling technologies. The result of their application was the constancy of the shape and size of the contact patch, which remains almost square even under strong lateral acceleration. In real operating conditions, this allows you to control the trajectory of the vehicle's movement, passing turns at very high speed.
