The tread pattern is dominated by massive elements, which increases the contact patch, improving grip and reducing wear. Optimization of the tire's tread profile using variable curvature enhances these properties, adding to them ease of handling when changing direction. Wide longitudinal grooves and numerous drainage elements on the edges maintain reliable grip on wet pavement, preventing the formation of a continuous water film in the contact patch.
