This determined the priorities in the design - high density of lamellas, reinforced block structure, and special rubber compound that retains elasticity in extreme cold. Before entering the market, it underwent a series of tests at a polygon in Minnesota at temperatures below -30 degrees. The effectiveness of the tread in such conditions was largely due to the presence of a porous structure of the rubber mixture. It is worth noting the absence of critical dependence on the presence of studs, which can be installed additionally in special mounting holes in the tread. Its pattern contains blocks with an increased number of edges and numerous 3D-lamellas, which provide stable traction on any slippery surface. The next important feature is the optimization of both the tread pattern and the tire carcass, taking into account the characteristics of the electronic driver assistance systems. Thanks to the stable distribution of pressure over the contact patch and the reinforced breaker zone, the tire works well with ABS, ESP, and TCS systems, minimizing skidding even with sharp changes in trajectory.
