Unistar Ice Protection – a novelty from a well-known manufacturer, which was introduced in 2024. The tire is designed for winter use on a wide range of passenger cars of various classes. It provides reliability of traction and driving properties, including on deep snow. The model is designed for urban roads, but can also be used on even dirt roads.

The basis of the tread is an asymmetric structure, which is distinguished by extended shoulder areas of the open type. This has increased the contact patch, which contributes to the improvement of the vehicle's stability on winter roads, especially when performing maneuvers.

Among the distinctive features, a developed aqua-drainage system can be highlighted, which is represented by both longitudinal channels and numerous transverse grooves. On the one hand, such a structure provides rapid collection and evacuation of contaminants from the contact area. On the other hand, it forms additional hooks that increase passability on loose snow.

An important aspect is also the rubber compound, which is able to maintain its elasticity level over a wide temperature range. This was achieved through the use of special additives and the use of advanced methods of compound processing.
