The Uniroyal MS Plus 44 winter tire is primarily installed on compact passenger cars. It is favorably distinguished from most analogs of other brands by improved traction properties on icy and snowy surfaces.
The tread pattern is rich in traction edges. A significant part of them is formed by sinusoidal lamellas. They increase the traction force and deceleration intensity on surfaces with a low coefficient of friction. At the same time, the "three-dimensional" profile of their vertical walls, limiting the mobility of blocks, provides stability and precision in handling. The tread part of the tire is made from a "winter" compound based on natural rubber and silicon dioxide. This combination gives the tire elasticity at temperatures below zero degrees Celsius, thus providing even more traction on slippery surfaces.
Key features:
- a large number of sinusoidal lamellas increases longitudinal traction on wet and icy surfaces;
- high and long block edges provide efficiency on snow;
- enlarged shoulder areas increase handling accuracy and directional stability when maneuvering.
