The tread pattern consists of massive elements. In combination with the optimization of the tread profile, this increases the contact patch, improving traction and handling, especially at high speeds. The presence of numerous multidirectional grooves and lamellas in the pattern allows these properties to be maintained on wet surfaces. They are further enhanced by a rubber compound with a high "silica" content.
