The BYD e7 electric sedan has been equipped with Triangle tires

Triangle Tire announced that it has become a supplier of tires for the recently introduced compact electric sedan BYD e7, continuing to expand its presence in the Chinese market's first-fit segment.

For the BYD e7, the Triangle Advantex Eco TE307 tires were chosen, which feature a tread pattern (the same as the ReliaXTouring TE307) with closed shoulders and a variable pitch, designed to reduce noise. Additionally, the three-arched crown tread design provides uniform pressure distribution in the contact patch, while improving handling and wear resistance, and the four wide longitudinal grooves are responsible for quick water drainage, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and shortening the braking distance on wet roads.

The shoulders feature blade-like grooves, which, according to the manufacturer, further reduce noise levels, while also increasing grip in various weather conditions, whereas the new-generation rubber compound with functionalized polymer and high silica content reduces rolling resistance and improves fuel efficiency.

Triangle began cooperating with BYD in 2010 and has previously become a supplier for various new energy vehicles, such as the Qin EV, Dolphin, and so on.
