Modified Tread
Being a modified version of the previously released Toyo Snowprox S954 tire, this model has a number of innovations. Firstly, the presence of additional slits in the shoulder area, located at an angle. Secondly, deeper drainage grooves. This contributes to an increase in traction properties on winter roads, as well as a reduction in braking distance, providing refined vehicle handling.
The tread itself is distinguished by its increased width, which contributes to stable behavior on snowy or icy roads.
The presence of lamellas of different sizes contributes to the distribution of pressure in the contact zone, increasing the coupling properties, both on wet and dry road surfaces.
Improved Compound
The use of special polymers, including silica, in the rubber mixture provides improved contact characteristics with the road surface. At the same time, there is a reduction in rolling resistance and a minimization of wear. Thanks to the latter, the lifespan of the tire is significantly increased.
