Toyo Snowprox S943

The Toyo Snowprox S943 winter tire is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars. It is available in several dozen sizes for wheels with diameters from 14 to 17 inches. It is characterized by a high level of safety on any winter roads.

The tread compound is made from a compound that, in addition to silicon dioxide, includes special polymeric compounds. They increase the uniformity of the rubber mixture at the molecular level, reduce rolling resistance, increase wear resistance and elasticity at negative temperatures.

The design of the tread pattern is characterized by two wide longitudinal grooves in the central part. These elements improve stability on wet and snowy surfaces. The rib located between them improves handling, providing more transparent feedback on the steering wheel. The shoulder areas are longitudinal rows of large blocks. They enhance grip when maneuvering, prevent skidding during acceleration and braking on slippery surfaces.

Another feature of the tread pattern is the high density of the lamella arrangement, with a distance of just a few millimeters between them. These elements, forming hundreds of sharp edges in the contact zone, allow the tire to effectively grip even the smallest irregularities, ensuring reliable behavior on rolled snow and ice.
