In designing this tire, the latest computer method, called Dynamic Simulation Optimised Contact, was used, which allowed simulating the behavior of the tire on the road surface and maximizing the optimization of the combination of the rubber mixture composition and the tread pattern to achieve maximum results.
The special directional tread pattern, combined with open deep channels, significantly reduces the effect of aquaplaning at maximum speeds, reduces the risk of skidding on turns, and improves the car's handling on both dry and wet road surfaces. The massive shoulder parts with powerful, wide blocks allowed for excellent handling on high-speed turns. Due to the use of a wide rib in the center of the tread, the Toyo Proxes T1S tire holds the road perfectly even at a maximum speed of 300 km/h.
