Description Toyo Proxes RR
The Toyo Proxes RR summer tire is a sports tire designed for use exclusively on racing tracks. It is characterized by exceptional stability at extremely high speeds, uncompromising precision in handling, increased resistance to abrasive wear and prolonged thermal exposure.
The tire's tread is made from a special rubber compound that demonstrates the greatest efficiency at temperatures from 70 to 105 degrees Celsius. Under such conditions, it has the ability to literally stick to the road surface, providing excellent traction even with very strong side acceleration. Another important feature of the tire is the profile of the tread. On most of its surface, it is practically flat, with noticeable rounding only at the very edges of the tread. This solution significantly increases the stability of the traction properties, providing excellent directional stability and high handling accuracy, along with reduced unevenness of abrasive wear. Add to this the high rigidity and special shape of the sidewalls, which enhance all these properties, along with the special filler of the tire's rim ring. One more significant difference of the tire is the presence of a large number of circular holes in the tread. They are located in certain areas of the tread that are subject to the greatest load during movement, being, in fact, wear indicators that allow you to quickly determine both the remaining resource of the tire and the need to replace it with a new one.
Key features of the Toyo Proxes RR:
- "racing" compound with a "working" temperature range from 70 to 105 degrees Celsius provides uncompromising traction and handling accuracy at extremely high speeds;
- reinforced sidewalls, their optimized profile, special filler in the tire's rim ring improve handling, providing more transparent feedback on the steering wheel;
- special holes - indicators applied in the most loaded areas of the tread allow you to quickly determine the degree of wear and the need to replace the tire with a new one.
