Toyo J48d

The Toyo J48d summer tire is designed for compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It is perfectly suited for intensive use, both in urban conditions and on high-speed highways. It is characterized by improved traction properties on wet surfaces, comfortable handling, acoustic comfort, and smooth ride.

The symmetrical tread pattern features a large number of lamellas, with several types of such cuts used. The T-shaped lamellas in the shoulder areas not only improve traction properties on wet surfaces but also increase the tread's resistance to uneven wear, giving the tire an additional smoothness. Similar properties are achieved by short cuts along the edges of the central longitudinal rib. Straight lamellas with their elongated edges direct water to the adjacent grooves, enhancing resistance to aquaplaning.
