The design is based on the principle of a maximally efficient and stable contact patch. Solid longitudinal ribs in the center of the tread form a "backbone". They eliminate deformations at high speed, ensuring instant response and rail stability on straight roads. The outer blocks of the tread have an increased area and are reinforced with internal stiffness elements. In turns, they work as a support, counteracting tilt and maintaining maximum possible contact with the asphalt.
The distribution of blocks and their geometry are calculated to form a virtually solid platform in the contact patch under load. This increases the contact area, improving acceleration and braking, and promotes even pressure distribution, prolonging the life of the tread.
High-level safety
Fast driving in the rain requires not just grooves, but a system designed for extreme water drainage. Four powerful straight channels form a high-capacity system. They guarantee the removal of a large amount of water in fractions of a second, maintaining the cleanliness of the contact zone. The side edges of the large blocks are equipped with short diagonal lamellas, which intercept residual moisture and direct it into the main channels, increasing the overall efficiency of drainage.
