On a smooth slippery surface, the tire demonstrates confident behavior thanks to several thousand narrow slits evenly distributed throughout the tread. The lamellas form numerous sharp edges, with which the tire literally bites into the ice and compacted snow.
Special rubber compound
The tire tread is made of a compound that includes silicon-containing components of the new generation. They expand the range of working temperatures of the rubber compound, in particular, giving it increased elasticity when strongly cooled. This significantly improves the traction properties in winter.
